In addition to De Leon Dynamics owners Victor and Nicole Flores, the De Leon Dynamics Aerial Summer Intensive will include amazing guest instructors from Cirque du Soleil, Dragone, TV and beyond!

We are solidifying the lineup, but so far we have:

johnnyJohnny Kim:
Johnny Kim has an eclectic performance background in dance, musicals, and circus and graced many stages around the globe, including working for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Music of the Night’ and Cameron Mackintosh’s ‘Encore Mr. Producer’ with Jean Ann Ryan Productions, ‘Les Folies Bergere’ at the Tropicana, ‘Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular’ – Arena Tour, ‘Miss Saigon’ at North Carolina Theatre, ‘Cirque de la Mer’ for World Entertainment and ‘Voyage de la Vie’ at Resorts World Sentosa.

On pushing the boundaries in entertainment, he is also the only male to have played the female role “Dark Queen” at Franco Dragone’s ‘The House of Dancing Water’. He also served as the Choreography Captain of the show and transitioned to management as the Artistic Coordinator of cast change over and operations for three years.

Johnny landed a dream job with Cirque du Soleil as the Assistant Artistic Director on the creation of ‘VOLTA’, and spent two years creatively shaping the production with his mentor. After a successful stint on that North American tour, he then joined ‘TOTEM’ as their Artistic Director.

We can’t wait to hear his tips on how to take our performances to the next step – form, technique, and a little je ne c’est quoi!

Haley Viloria:

One of our favorite performers ever! Many years ago, we hired Haley for De Leon Productions events, but she moved on to even more amazing things!

Since 2009, Haley has been performing on stages internationally.  She performed in Cirque Du Soleil’s AMALUNA , completing both the North American and European Tour. She performed her highly specialized aerial contortion act as the “Storm Goddess”, and also understudied another highly skilled aerial lyra number as the “Moon Goddess”- two principal  characters in the production. Haley then transferred to another Cirque Du Soleil production, KOOZA, where she toured China, New Zealand and Korea.  What makes Haley a unique artist is that she believes that, like fine art changes and evolves, as should performance as well. Much like an actor should have a range of characters, so should the acrobat.

When Haley left Cirque Du Soleil, she moved to Miami to begin a new career path as an Aerial & Acrobatic Artistic Director for Celebrity Cruises. As a director at Celebrity Cruises Haley’s responsibilities included overseeing the training and integration of artists going to various ships with various disciplines. She also designed the conditioning programs for specialists and dancers who perform aerial cues. With Celebrities Cruises new ship for 2019 APEX, Haleys responsibilities included acrobatic design, choreography, character development and automation programming for their 3 production shows and 2 club show events.

Haley has a reputation for her wild ideas, often venturing off the beaten path to discover something new for her artists. At the end of the day, nothing satisfies Haley’s soul more than to watch her artists growth at the end of a project. She is truly honored to have contributed to their success through positive encouragement, safe technique and theatrical experimentation.
