Pop in your metaphorical cassette and get ready to rewind and fast‑forward through two unforgettable decades of music in our all‑student aerial showcase, MIXTAPE: An 80s & 90s Aerial Showcase. From neon‑drenched 80s anthems to gritty 90s rock, our students will fly, spin, and drop their way through iconic tracks on silks, hoop, trapeze, and more.
This family‑friendly show features performers of all ages and levels from De Leon Dynamics, each act choreographed to celebrate the spirit, style, and attitude of the 80s and 90s. Join us for an afternoon of nostalgia, community, and gravity‑defying fun.
- Two showtimes to choose from: 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm
- Doors open 15 minutes before each show
- Approximate runtime: 2 hours
We are excited to feature all of our De Leon Dynamics students in our upcoming aerial showcase, MIXTAPE: An 80s & 90s Aerial Showcase, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, with shows at 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
This is a low‑pressure, high‑fun performance opportunity designed to celebrate our students’ hard work, confidence, and creativity. There is no cost to participate for students. Participation includes:
- A choreographed group act set on your child’s regular apparatus
- Rehearsals during regular class time (plus an extra rehearsal on May 15th)
- Optional Showcase T-Shirt, Pizza, Spectator Ticket Package(s) available
Families and friends will be able to purchase tickets to attend and cheer on our performers. Spectator tickets help us cover production costs so we can keep core participation free for students. Participants will need to purchase a costume for each routine they perform in (estimated cost: less than $50).
